The door of functional villa Tugendhat in Brno was reopened for public after an extensive reconstruction. A group of top architects set a common goal – a replica with the finest details and maximal spatial authenticity. A famous ceramist from Laufen in Znojmo supervised by Daniel Piršč, an experienced designer, also participated in this challenge.

Change in leadership at Laufen CZ
Laufen/Prague. With immediate effect Ladislav Dvořák (37) takes over the position as Managing Director of Laufen CZ. This is the first time that a Czech is appointed to this key role since the Laufen CZ office opened in Prague in 1999. Ladislav Dvořák will assume the position of Oriol Torras, who will become Corporate Labour Relations Manager for Roca in Spain. ”Enhancing the quality of service to our customers for all brands; Laufen, Roca and Jika remain the priority for me,“ says Ladislav Dvořák.

Jika brand TV commercial by Laufen CZ, favoured by viewers in 2009, was awarded a special “Rainbow Smile” prize of Children’s Jury at Rainbow Marble 2010 International Advertising Awards held in Zlín, Czech Republic. In total, prizes – split to five basic categories – were awarded to 18 contractors and agencies during the formal evening party: 5 gold prizes, 5 silver, and 8 bronze.
